ELGi membrane compressed-air dryers use specialized membranes containing microtubules to filter moisture: the microtubules retain water while a stream of dried air passes through to a collection unit or the application. They operate oil-free and without electricity, are quiet, have no moving parts, and are easy to maintain. Membrane dryers can only be used with clean, uncontaminated air and require regular pre-filter changes to prevent blockages. They suit applications needing dehumidification, food processing, and gas separation.
