The I.Va.Co ICV/ICP series are dry contact-less claw vacuum pumps and compressors of modular construction, made in Italy. Pumping and gear chambers are separated by labyrinth seals, so the compression chamber is oil-free. The two claw rotors rotate in opposite directions without contact, meaning no wearing parts and minimal maintenance. A built-in anti-suck-back valve in the inlet flange prevents air backflow at shutdown; the pumps are directly driven by a flanged motor through a coupling.
