Italian DVP SC Series — oil-free (dry) rotary vane vacuum pumps in which an eccentrically mounted rotor with self-lubricating carbon vanes rotates inside a cylindrical body. Centrifugal force pushes the vanes against the body, creating variable-volume chambers that draw in and expel air. Can run continuously at both atmospheric pressure and high vacuum, and also as a compressor. Not suitable for moisture-, oil-, or liquid-laden intake air.
