Italian Mattei fixed-speed rotary vane compressors in two lines. ERC Classic (2–60 HP) are direct-drive, open-frame compressors whose electric motor turns at 1,800 rpm and is directly coupled to the compressor shaft through a flexible coupling, providing energy savings and less maintenance with no gear or belt transmission losses; available base- or tank-mounted. RVD (RVD 7/RVD 11, 10–15 HP) are industrial-grade direct-drive single-stage compressors, available fixed or variable speed (RVDi inverter); the larger RVD 30–55 kW models add isolated cooling, Xtreme communication, and extended oil-filter/separator life. All use Mattei's bearingless rotor-stator unit on white-metal bushings (operation >100,000 h) and deliver residual oil content <3 ppm.
